napha & really darkroom.
it’s been awhile since i’ve been this tired. but it was very much well worth every effort. it was awwsomely nice to see and hear everyone cheering us on for 2.4km run. :D good job ppl! haha very grateful for all the help given. i mean, running that distance doesn’t come easily for people like me, so it was quite a feel good run! but i think i’ll try again in january and reeeeeally hope i’ll get to help out in womad again next year.
i think running with dan and kenneth really helped, otherwise i’ll never know how to run properly (yes, being in media club for four years in secondary school really didn’t help much here.)
if running the distance wasn’t enough to work my heart for the day, the black out in the darkroom sure did. was on my own from 3-8pm (minus 4-7 for napha) in the darkroom and it took me quite awhile to settle down and not get any jitterbugs from the darkness.
the worst part was when i was almost done, about to squeegee my prints and go home, when the lights just simly went out. i swear no matter how brave or how many pontianaks and vampires you’ve seen in your life, you’d be freaked out at the suddenly darkness. i just ran out without my phone or anything else. and uncle wong wasn’t around so i had to wait reeeally long before i could go in.
and its even worse with a torchlight since you really don’t know where you’re pointing at and you never know if something’ll pop out of the booths. in the end i got uncle wong to accompany me clear the prints from the holding tank.

i spent $30 developing 4 rolls and now i got no money to get to school. yay!
